Le Pas de SoucyCanoe/kayak over 2 days from Sainte-Enimie to Pas de Soucy
Day 1: In this route, you start at the most upstream point, above Sainte-Enimie.
You will see two campsites a little further on, then you will arrive at Saint Chély. You will then see Pougnadoires, a magnificent troglodyte hamlet. You will also pass in front of Le Château de La Caze, then in front of Hauterives, a small village currently undergoing restoration, where the remains of an 11th century castle remain.
Continuing your route, you will be able to see La Malène, you will end in front of our Mill.
Indicative paddling time of 3 hours.
Day 2: You start in front of our mill, then you will pass through the straits, the roughest part of the river. At the exit of the straits you will see La Croze, which is particularly known for its postcard. A few strokes of the oars later, you will see the Mushroom Rock, or “Snoopy” for children.
A little further down at Pas de Soucy, the exit is marked by 2 vests hanging high and by a sign on the right side.
Indicative paddling time of 3 hours.
Departure and arrival Day 1:
- Meet at the Moulin de la Malène at 9:15 a.m.
- A shuttle will then take you to the starting point of your route.
Departure and arrival Day 2:
- Free departure between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from Moulin de La Malène
- Return provided at the end of the route (boats and passengers) until 7 p.m.
- You have the possibility of doing this portion of the river by paddle.
